On February 04, 2025, the General Assembly (GA) of the Tanzania Health Informatics Association (TAHIA) wrote a new page on the History of TAHIA by endorsing Different Directors as a means of distributing Responsibilities to TAHIA leaders with agreed Target and Key Performance Indicators for monitoring and tracking TAHIA Performance.
The General Assembly focused in amplifying the impact of TAHIA performance in Tanzania and beyond.
The GA was grounded in strengthening the TAHIA organization structure by ensuring and setting a clear and effective Platform to enhance coordination, accountability and strategic alignment across all Directorates . The GA was geared to respond to the pressing demand for performance of different Strategic Objectives of the Tanzania Digital Health Strategy 2019-2024.
